RoboBoat 2016 Competition

The Villanova SeaCats team has designed and built a fully autonomous surface vehicle, SeaCat, to compete in the Association for Unmanned Vehicles Systems International (AUVSI) and the Office of Navy Research (ONR)’s 9th International Autonomous Surface Vehicle Competition. Using the knowledge and experience of past and present team members, SeaCat has the ability to complete a set of tasks for this competition. These tasks include obstacle avoidance, automated docking, acoustic beacon positioning, and an interoperability challenge.
